THE FIRST SAN FRANCISCO HOUSE MISS JO AND HER FAMILY LIVED IN WAS ON LONE MOUNTAIN, across from the University of San Francisco, a Jesuit school.
From their back yard Miss Jo and her family could see the dome of USF’s 1914 St. Ignatius Church and its twin bell towers.
At sunset, the church looks like it’s been beamed in from Florence, photographed, above, on Parker Street by the natatorium.
